Summary: Lovely, clean lodge, plenty of space and comfortable. Very peaceful. Kitchen is well equipped but one thing we missed was an oven dish. If you’re planning on fishing from the garden… it’s not worth it. Very few fish and all small, other families from neighbouring lodges also commented on this. Food at the White Heron pub at the entrance to the marina was nice and the staff were lovely. Had takeaways from the Bay Leaf Indian and New World Chinese, both were very good. Would book again but also hire a boat to be able to move along the river to better fishing locations.
