Positive: This was the most perfect home to spend a long festive weekend in, with family. The hosts had gone beyond any of our expectations, with decorations in every room, a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, a dining table which looked ready for a Christmas day roast, and so many other Christmas decorations laid out around the home. Beyond the perfect festive vibe, was a home so cared for, so looked after, in such a tranquil location, right on the footsteps of the countryside, that we cannot wait to return one day. A rarity also these days, the hosts even went to the effort in leaving some goodies for us, from wine to biscuits, and popcorn to milk, and all in-between. From the wonderful, welcoming hosts, to their beautiful home, and the sheer effort they go to, to make it a home away from home, it was a perfect trip.

Summary: A home away from home. A Magical Christmas Surprise.
