The Garden House is a light, contemporary house which is quietly situated on the edge of Petworth and an area of outstanding natural beauty. It is only a short walk to the centre of the historic town, with its convenience stores, delis, many antique shops, independent retailers, gastro pubs, restaurants and cafes. It is also within easy walking distance of historic Petworth House and Park and the Shimmings Valley.
Inside, the house comprises a large open plan sitting room with dining area and well equipped modern kitchen with granite worktops. There is a downstairs bedroom with kingsize bed and ensuite wetroom (and direct access down stairs to the private garden).
Upstairs there are two more ensuite bedrooms, one kingsize bed and the other a double. There is a second sitting area upstairs too with a small double sofa bed. (There is an additional fee of £50 payable on arrival for making up and supply of extra linens if the sofa bed is required)
The house is furnished with contemporary furniture and fittings, with light oak flooring throughout. The beds are all extremely comfortable and the hotel quality linen has a very high thread count and is professionally laundered.
There is ample room to park up to three cars outside (additional cars ONLY by arrangement) PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN FRONT OF THE GARAGE and a large landscaped sunken garden laid to lawn with flower beds, paved areas and rambling roses. Modern and comfortable garden furniture, including six loungers and a dining table and six chairs, are provided together with a bbq.
