Summary: Gardenstown is a sweet little village on the coast about one hour north of Aberdeen. The house is located perfectly with an amazing view to the ocean directly out of the kitchen window. It is newly renovated. Everything is in perfect working order. Car can be parked in front of the house. Andreas, our landlord, is a super friendly and relaxed person and gave us both, helpful hints for visits in the area as well as e.g. a gas grill to prepare out freshly self-caught North Sea fish. It is also worth going to a local pub and participate in a Pub Quiz. Very nice opportunity to get in touch with the locals. All very friendly, as all Scottish people we met during our stay. So a 100% recommendation for the whole set.
