Summary: We booked both the Pool house and Meadow view for myself, my wife, our two young children and their 4 grandparents. We stayed in the Pool house whilst the grandparents took meadow view. First the hosts - they were very welcoming, showed us around and provided us with some welcome packages including Bottles of Prosecco and some freshly baked loaves. Provided their phone number and were very responsive when we had questions and wanted to use the pools. Provide a good book with some ideas of pubs etc in the area but also happy to know what you’ve done to know if there are other things worth recommending to future guests. The accommodation - very clean place, quite modern with everything you need. Beds very comfy, lots of room for the 8 of us to gather in the pool house to eat together etc. all amenities included if you need to wash clothes etc. free Wi-Fi covering both houses, smart TVs to log into your own streaming services and ample parking for our 3 cars. Always warm enough too. Pool - perfect for the kids, heated so not too cold, with a separate changing room so no need to walk wet through the house. Includes toilet too. Inflatables for the kids. Happy to extend times etc.for pool use to support plans you may have going out. Couldn’t have asked for better for the kids. Location - our plan was to drive to various places around the Cotswolds and this was a great base for us in the centre of the Cotswold. 5-10 minutes to closest smaller towns/villages, 20 mins car journey to closes larger towns and the zoo, 30 mins to some of the key places to visit in the cotswolds and about 1 hour from some of the key cities like Oxford. Quiet place at night and right across from the RAF base that you can see from outside meadow view, only a little noise in the morning due to aircraft but nothing that effects your stay. Road at night would be dangerous to walk, but ok in light. Would really need a car/taxi transport if going out to eat etc. Would definitely recommend to anyone going to stay in the Cotswolds no matter how long for and will definitely return in the future.
