Positive: Fantastic remote location at the foot of the glorious Pentland Hills and incredibly close to Edinburgh. Wonderful walks from the doorstep. The cottage was very comfortable and clean with a great wood burning stove, well equipped kitchen and lots of space. Beds very comfy. The wood fired sauna is fantastic and well worth the extra charge, would thoroughly recommend and do be brave enough to take a cold plunge. Stunning views over the valley from the sauna yurt and the cold plunge. Lots to do locally and Roslin Chapel well worth a visit.
