Positive: The property was impressive - uniquely stylish, beautifully decorated and fully equipped to serve our needs. It is spacious and for 7 of us it meant some could simultaneously prepare food in the kitchen whilst others could spread out in the kitchen dining area and seated area. Lots of opportunity to find your own space in the two reception rooms with great decor and artistic touches. It was bright and cheery - lots of windows and plenty of ventilation. Great welcoming hallway to receive outdoor boots and coats. Little touches such as interesting books laid out, flowers adorning all rooms to really make you feel special. The fact that the utility room was laid out with making equipment and ingredients provided a great opportunity for me to use the Bramley apples from the tree in the garden to make apple crumble! In my element! Lots of great equipment in the kitchen in great condition that we put to good use. I’ve come away with some new ways of thinking and serving equipment I want to buy! Last but not least - the 2 jars of gorgeous homemade jam and the wonderful array of goodies on our arrival x this really helps to start things off on a positive footing. Well equipped with bedding, towels, dressing gowns and a good amount of toilet rolls, personal washing soaps and any extras that we might need. Lots of relevant information about how things work as well as local information. Location of house is perfect for day trips to north coast and trips round Co Armagh visiting family. Loughbrickland is beautiful with lots of local amenities and accessibility to the Dual carriageway fantastic.
