Summary: We recently stayed at The Cottage for a week, this was a very enjoyable stay. The Cottage is very spacious, has a lovely enclosed garden (which was required for our dog), and a wood/coal fire facility.The owners were very helpful and friendly....just the right amount of contact. It was enjoyable seeing the animals on the farm and the lovely countryside all around.The very well equipped kitchen is excellent for home cooking. We enjoyed bramble picking and made a crumble with them and some of the farms apples.The beds are also very comfortable.We have only marked Girvan down for amenities as there is nowhere to have a bar lunch although lots of cafes. A very good Indian (Yasmins) and fish and chips (Grazianos). Lots of lovely gift shops and of course a beautiful beach.We would definately book again.
