Summary: The Rain and hail pounded down during our stay but the pool was warm and great fun to be in for an hour a day despite the cold. The games room worked out great fun (but please update the table tennis bats and mend the pool table pockets). We didn't watch TV (the big TV can only be watched standing anyway up as it's in the games room). The fire was nicer to laze in front of and keep the house warm. The cooker didn't work during our stay but the management kindly let us use next doors kitchen, which was connected by a hidden door, so our meals worked out fine. Due to our numbers we ate in the kitchen as the dining room table was just too big, but it was used for jenga and spread out the jigsaws, both of which we completed to the pieces we had (new jigsaws needed as about 20 pieces missing). Lots of charm and character meaning the needed updates are forgiven, all in all a fabulous place and great for large family groups.
