Travel Purpose: business

Positive: The whole house is beautifully decorated and furbished to a lovely standard. The bedrooms and lounge are spacious and comfortable. All the bedrooms were different and quirky with changes in floor levels and one with low beams. We didn't cook whilst there but the kitchen looked well equipped. Great location but in the dark and with heavy traffic we missed the entrance to the car park at the rear of the property, however once in, the allocated space was easy to park in and rear access was up three easy steps (The first is a little hard to see in the dark so be careful.). There is a great real ale pub a short walk down the hill that serves pub food if you are not inclined to cook.

Negative: The bathroom is small (standing room was pretty much the arc of the door swing) and the sink plug got stuck on the second day. The kitchen is similarly petite with the door from the hallway opening into the standing space. Not sure how this could have been configured differently. Whilst the size of the bathroom and kitchen area was not a problem for me or my guests it may well present difficulties for people of large stature or for those with mobility issues.

Summary: Great accommodation, value for money and location. We will stay there again.
