The Trout Shop Apartment is over the village shop at the ever popular Trout Inn pub at Beulah above the well-stocked little shop - they also sell excellent home-made cakes and have a small help yourself coffee bar and a garage. The actual pub, The Trout Inn is very popular with good home cooked food and a good selection of beers. The kitchen is very spacious with a new tall fridge and freezer, dishwasher, microwave, electric built in cooker and an electric hob. A dining table and chairs for everyone to comfortably eat together. Again, a very spacious sitting room with sofa and chairs, a featured electric fire and TV with Free Sat and WIFI. So, the perfect place for exploring the more remote areas of Mid Wales - The Elan Valley, Abergwesyn Valley and of course an easy drive over to the beautiful West Wales Coast. Fishermen love this area with the River Irfon and tributaries - ask in the pub for further details. For cycling and mountain biking there are the many trails around the area, with Llanwrtyd Wells just up the road, The Abergwesyn Valley and over to The Crychan Forest. The nearby Elan Valley has some massive new mountain bike trails for Spring 2020. The smallest town in Britain, Llanwrtyd Wells 6 miles from Beulah and is the home of many Events - Man versus Horse, the world famous Bog Snorkling Championships, Beers Festivals and many more. From Beulah it is easy to reach Builth Wells, so a good place to stay for The Royal Welsh Show, Royal Welsh Winter Fair, Wonderwool and the many Welsh Pony/Cob and Sheep events - there is usually an interesting event several times a month.
