Guests can choose the bed configuration of both the double bedrooms, either a 5ft wide king luxury beds or [ transformed on request prior to arrival] into 4 twin beds. Bed linens are 800TC Egyptian cotton in white. Towels are white. The dining area boasts a circular marble top dining table with leather chair, matching quality all white dining china completes the quality dining experience and look. Enhanced by lamps around the room, the lounge contains one four seater , additional chairs , coffee table etc . Free wifi is included along with a 43 inch TV. Free on street parking for one car is included, additional parking is very close. There is a private patio with a 8 seater set of quality wooden patio furniture to enhance the dining experience. Guests who book for December may use the wood burner . Early last century it was a Victorian sweet shop where the small children from the local primary schools bought their treasured sweet treats. Summary: My wife and I had a wonderful time here! Julia was hugely helpful and considerate both before and throughout our stay. Everything about it was such a pleasure: easy check-in and entry, the beautiful clean and spacious accommodation, the closeness to the Cathedral and High Street and Winchester College. All just delightful. We used the "washer/dryer" -- and it also worked perfectly. We just could not have been happier with our introduction to Winchester. I highly recommend this place.
