Positive: Friendly staff, nice beer garden. Food at dinner and breakfast was good quality and well prepared.

Negative: I can only assume the single room is rarely used given how many cobwebs were across the tops of the walls in the bedroom and bathroom and ceiling light fitting. Rooms are to the front of the property and as such all noise from the main road can be heard in the bedroom. The couple next to my room had a dog staying in their room and when the couple arrived back at 01:30am the dog was excitable and needed to be let out. While that and the road noise isn't the hotel's fault, I would recommend earplugs at the very least.

Summary: Nice village location, shame about the noise
