The Beauty Shed is a quirky property with it's own private hot tub located in the heart of Lancashire on the edge of the Ribble Valley. Providing individual interior styling in an open plan living area and throughout two bedrooms, it sleeps up to four people.
The converted cabin is accessed around the rear of the popular Huntleys foodhall, butchers, farmshop and bakery complex and guests will enjoy dining in their cafe and restaurant which is directly opposite The Beauty Shed. As the name suggests, the lodge once offered beauty treatments but has now been completely transformed to provide holiday accommodation. Huntleys which is open 7 days a week and positioned the other side of the car park, provides a great opportunity for guests to treat themselves to the award-winning food and wines. The wine shop has a fantastic selection of wines and guests will be spoiled for choice. The pub The Bluebird Inn is only a five minute walk away and also offers a good pub menu.
The Beauty Shed is all on one level and walking in through the main door, guests find themselves in the cosy and well-proportioned open plan kitchen/living area. There's plenty of homely touches and a comfy two-seater sofa and two armchairs. The pine doors and wooden ceilings give the property a characterful feel.
Both bedrooms, the shower room and the WC are accessed off this main living space. The bedrooms are both home to a double bed, plenty of hanging space and with patio doors providing access to the private, fully enclosed garden area to the rear. The walk in shower is spacious and the WC has modern fittings.
A popular amenity at The Beauty Shed is the large hot tub, able to seat four people and completely screened off from the surrounding farmland and Huntleys complex. The outdoor shower and plunge bucket provides a bracing water stream to get the blood flowing! The garden area is all enclosed making it ideal for those with pets and there's enough garden furniture for people to enjoy during the warm summer evenings.
There is plenty of parking for two cars. The car park area is shared with Huntleys.
The Beauty Shed is located equidistant between Preston and Blackburn and is the ideal spot from which to explore the Lancashire countryside and the popular Forest of Bowland AONB. Samlesbury Hall is just down the road and has various events on throughout the year and there's also various pubs and restaurants all within a short drive away. The National Trust's Gawthorpe Hall is also well worth a visit as well as Blackpool and the Fylde coast.
