Travel Purpose: business

Positive: The location was wonderful, beautiful views from every window, very quiet and peaceful, with good walks on the doorstep. The hosts were pleasant and helpful without being intrusive. The cottage was comfortable and very well equiped.

Negative: Splitting hairs really, but the toilet seat was worn and although clean was stained on its underside and should have been replaced. The cooking hob was old style. The stairs are very steep and although the hosts do give a warning to be careful, we felt that for older people like us they were a bit hazardous!

Summary: We had a restorative and peaceful stay at the Barn, with views and birdsong and comfort.
