Summary: Had a nice 2 week break here. The house was clean and comfortable and located in a quiet part of town. The bathroom has been newly refurbished but the shower (boiler) is a little sensitive to changes in water pressure so make sure no one runs a tap whilst you’re washing. Not an awful lot of space to put clothes (nothing in one room) so bring a few hangers. The wifi is nice and quick with a decent sized telly and the kitchen has everything you’d need. There’s an enclosed seating area at the back and a small lawn at the front (not enclosed), with enough space on the drive for 2 smalls cars. The house is next to a lovely wooded area - old mills I believe - which is handy for walking the dog. Beaumaris is a nice little town with quite a few shops, cafes, pubs and chip shops, an Indian restaurant and a Chinese takeaway as well as the castle and gaol to visit and boat trips to Puffin Island. The beach isn’t great and dogs aren’t allowed on parts of it - plenty of other nice beaches within a 30 minute drive though. For food, there’s a smallish Spar in the town - nearest supermarket is the Waitrose in Menai Bridge, with a few more in Bangor (still only a 15 minute drive away).
