Truro is just seven miles away for the retail fix, magnificent Cathedral and eateries and bars for foody feasts before the theatre or cinema entertainment. Manege Cottage makes a superb romantic escape for exploring Cornwall's hot-spot locations. No children but babes in arms are welcome.
