Welcome, "Happy Daze" our modern spacious bungalow home less then 5 minutes stroll down a leavy lane to wonderful beach front with great walks & views of the "Isle of Wight" and the Solent & only 2 minutes from all amenities in our village.
Happy Daze is tastefully presented detached bungalow makes an ideal base for exploring this popular seaside destination! It has been stylishly, spaciously and comfortably furnished throughout using relaxing modern ikea furniture & neutral colours, with a nautical theme in keeping with Hayling Islands’ seaside heritage.
Conveniently located, Happy Daze is a short walk to the beach front for a variety of eating places / pubs, ice cream parlour, amusement arcade, award-winning fish and chip shop all with outdoor seating overlooking the solent & isle of wight.
The village 2 mins walk has local shops, supermarkets-ATM's, chemist, fish and chips, chinese / indian restaurants / take aways and bus routes around most of the island & to Havant for trains to Portsmouth & Chichester.
Our House.....
Lounge...... with two comfortable relaxing settees, coffee table and a 55-inch smart TV & nice view of the garden.
Summer/Dining Room...... is really light and airy with dining table & two settees.
French doors lead you out to a Private & enclosed Lawned Garden which is a real sun trap with outside dining table & parasol, additional sitting area, sun loungers and gas BBQ.
Kitchen..... is spacious well equipped including washing machine, dishwasher, microwave /cooker, oven / grill, slow cooker & American style Fridge Freezer.
Bed 1 having a king size bed and clothes storage. Modern ensuite shower room plus vanity unit & WC.
Bed 2 has double bed and plenty of storage.
Bed 3 has two single beds & clothes storage.
Bed linen & towels included.
Main Bathroom......has Bath with shower over, vanity unit + WC.
House Wi-Fi internet is included.
Parking..... private cu de sac no traffic off road parking for 3 vehicles.
Things to do.........
Hayling Island is one of Hampshire’s best loved places for a family escape there really is something for everyone.
Weather you fancy amateur dramatics at Station theater or gentle strolls around Hayling's great coastline or be its well-known water sports activities where it is sheltered by the Isle of Wight making it ideal for this. award-winning fish and chip shop.
Windsurfing was invented on Hayling Island and it is also renowned for its great SUP paddle boarding, kayaking & kitesurfing along with great sailing.
The Hayling Billy Coastal Path...... great views west of Langstone harbour used by walkers, cyclists and horse riders is along the route of the old Hayling Billy railway line between the old station starting at West town to the Hayling bridge 4m.
Seafront Railway...2-mile miniature East Hayling Light Railway fun for all the family.
Funland Amusement Park... seafront funfair for all especially the kids.
Boat trips.......Chichester & Langstone natural harbours which surround Hayling are great for sea birds and the sight of “Grey Seals”.
Paddle Boarding & Kayak.......Hayling is ideal, Chichester natural harbour great for sea birds and the sight of “Grey Seals”.

Further afield....... Visit Portsmouth & Southsea with waterside dining overlooking Portsmouth harbour & designer shopping outlets at Gun wharf Quays, Spinnaker Tower and the Historic Dockyard, Natural History Museum, HMS Victory, Mary Rose Museum & HMS Warrior first steel sailing fighting ship. Also, Ferry or Hovercraft to the Isle of Wight...great day out!!
Visit Chichester with its beautiful Cathedral, Festival theatre, shopping, Leisure center & Roman villa.
Getting about.........
Regular Bus routes cover most of the island to Havant for train connections to Portsmouth & Southsea and to Chichester.
