Summary: This studio apartment is perfect for a longer stay in London for a single person. The neighborhood is quiet and very walkable. The room is quite nice - not quite big enough to entertain more than one or two people, as the murphy bed does not fold up very well. However, having a couch to sit on as well as a table and chairs was excellent. Also appreciated was the fact that the apartment had decorations on the walls. It added personality to make the staying there more comfortable. I was there for about 12 days working during the day, and exploring the city afterward. Chalk Farm station (Northern Line) is so close by, as well as multiple grocery stores within a 10-15 minute walk that I never felt isolated. While I did like being on a higher floor, I did have to take the stairs up a couple times and that was a little annoying. Also, the humidity is very high so the space was a little musty. Thankfully the dehumidifier made the difference. Just have to remember to empty it! And if you come from a place where washer/dryers can handle a lot of clothes, be warned that this is a very small combo unit. It works well, but do not expect to wash more than two days worth of clothes. I would happily book this location again if I had another long, solo stay in London. And I really enjoyed my stay. Thanks!
