Summary: This hotel has now become a Premier Inn. We booked in March to stay at the Holiday Inn Express. We received an email from Premier Inn saying they would honour our booking. This was not quite the case and we are still waiting to hear from Premier Inn. Having paid in full through Expedia, was told at reception on booking in that we haven't paid so a credit card was presented and payment taken (again) from that. When we checked out, I had the email confirmation from Expedia which stated it had been paid in full. Hotel staff were very obliging and stated we should not have paid for breakfast either as that was included in the Holiday Inn Express price. They were trying to sort this out as we left, still waiting to hear from them as to the result, hopefully a refund into my credit card. Otherwise the hotel was excellent, ideal location, inexpensive meals, great and friendly staff - hello Laura :)
