A very pretty coastal cottage tucked away in the delightful village of Alnmouth. Platone Cottage is in a great spot, with the beach on the doorstep and the village amenities close at hand. This pet friendly cottage is beautifully presented with painted boarded walls and pretty furnishings. Accommodation is over two floors with a couple of bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor and cosy living area and kitchen dining room on the ground floor. Outside the property there’s a lovely courtyard garden, perfect for relaxing with a coffee over breakfast.
The cottage is close to the beautiful Heritage Coast and the historic market town of Alnwick. You may recognise Alnwick Castle as the location of Hogwarts from the Harry Potter movies. Nearby Alnwick Garden is well worth a visit, the brainchild of the Duchess of Northumberland. This is the perfect destination for an active holiday with golf, walking, cycling, sailing and horse riding all available locally.

Family shower room: shower cubicle, heated towel rail, WC and wash hand basin.
Entertainment: TV and digi-box, DVD and CD player. Good selection of DVDs, CDs and games.
For families: cot and high chair are available on request.
Outside: small decked area with garden furniture to the side.
Parking: 1 designated car parking space for a small family car due to restricted access. Shared access through to the adjacent property
General: central heating. WiFi. Bedding, bed linen, towels, gas central heating, hairdryer. Welcome tray (tea, coffee, biscuits, wine, milk).
Pets: 1 small well behaved dog is welcome @ £25.00 per week or part thereof. Please ensure that your dog is not left in the property unattended (unless crated). Dogs should not be allowed in the bedrooms or on furniture. Additional fee applies.
