About this space
We provide an authentic, back-to-nature, off grid experience – an antidote to the stress of modern life and a chance for you to truly sit back and relax. Whether its stargazing, cooking on an open fire or watching birds of prey hunt, you can find nature and tranquility all around.
Our traditional Mongolian yurt is sure to keep you safe from the elements. Complete with wool insulation and waterproof canvas. Inside you will find a king size & double futon bed.
Note this is a no Wi-Fi zone.
The space
The Yurt sits on a 6 acre smallholding. There is a large parking area a short walk away from the Yurt. There is also a wagon at the parking area which you can use to transport your personal belongings from the car to the Yurt. As you walk towards the Yurt, you will notice the separate kitchen/ shower area before the entrance to the Yurt field. The yurt is 5.8 meters circumference, so lots of space for you to relax and switch off from the rest of the world. In the summer you can help yourself to some homegrown veggies from our poly tunnel.
On the outside of the Yurt, you will find a fire pit with swinging grill for cooking and keeping warm. There is also wooden furniture for outdoor dining. There is an eco loo which will have sawdust, toilet paper and hand gel.
Please note, it gets dark so head torches are a must. The Yurt is dog friendly but please bring bags to clean up any mess made. There is fresh tap water from the sink which is located in the outdoor kitchen area as mentioned above.
This is a camping experience, so please bring all of your own camping equipment. This would include bedding, duvet, pillows, pots/ pans, containers to store fresh water as well as your own logs, kindling and fire lighters for the indoor and outdoor heating appliances.
Guest access
The postcode will take you to a house, continue driving a short distance on the main road and the parking space will be immediately on the left. You will find a hard core area by the barns. You can park anywhere on this part. There is room for multiple vehicles.

Supermarkets
The nearest super market can be located in nearby Llandeilo. This is a 10 minute drive away. In Llandeilo you will find a Co Operative super market as well as a CK super market. Within the town you will also find independent bakery's, butchers and fruit and veg stores. Carmarthen is a 20 minute drive away, here you will find Tesco and Morrisons.

Llandeilo has a vast array of restaurants, these include The Cawdor, The Plough, The Salutation, The Hen Vic and the Torbay Inn.
Local Attractions
We would recommend visiting Llandeilo where you will be able to visit Dinefwr Castle and Newton house. Llandeilo was recently voted the 'best place to live in Wales' by the Times. We are set close to the Brecon Beacons with plenty of walks there to enjoy. The nearest mountain Llyn-Y-Fan is 25 minutes away. Llansteffan beach and castle is also worth a visit and is only 30 minutes away.
