To the outside there is plenty of off road parking and a decked veranda with furniture along with surrounding woodland. Otter Lodge is the perfect hideaway for a cosy retreat. Note; The lodge is a walk down a gravel track, no parking directly outside the property, may not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as there are two steps up to the lodge. Summary: Nice setting but rather untidy rather than idilic. We had a couple of problems with the cabin but the house keeper and owners addressed these promptly and without making a fuss. No use able outdoor s pace as furniture in verandah needs to be upgraded. Nearby there are some lovely walks and there is a great deli in the village with a fantastic range of gin.
