Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Excellent location in a lovely town, very clean and thoughtfully equipped, including large, comfortable beds, lovely toiletries and a well-provisioned little kitchen. The two bathrooms (both en-suite) were appreciated. The heating worked well and the wood-burner was enjoyed on the cold evenings. We loved the walks from the property along the river, the brewery and cafes and the numerous other friendly and interesting shops in Kirby Lonsdale. A great place to stay to explore this beautiful area.

Negative: Although it wasn’t a problem for us, it’s worth noting that although the house sleeps more than 4, there is only a small, tall table with 4 tall stools - there’d be nowhere for more guests to eat.

Summary: Lovely, very comfortable cottage in an excellent location.
