Positive: free allocated parking space for one car, right next to the door; whole property on one level, on the ground floor; welcome pack of tea, cake and milk; lovely village with all the essentials, and some craft and gift shops; perfectly located with a train station in the village and good road access to the highlands; property had everything we needed - washing up liquid, binbags, etc; owner answered all our questions beforehand promptly and in detail. would happily stay there again, and would recommend it as a base for a highland visit

Negative: could maybe have had more wardrobe space, but to be honest, with divan bed drawers, bedside drawers and a hanging rail there was plenty of storage space once we got suitcases unpacked and out of the way. the property itself is compact, but absolutely fit for purpose for a couple, or two couples.

Summary: three wonderful days in a perfect getaway location, in a property that had everything we needed
