For some green space, Islington Green is a couple of minutes' walk, lots of playgrounds a short walk away, Highbury Fields 15 mins walk (with a huge playground and tennis courts). The Regent's Canal is a couple of minutes' walk with stunning canal side pubs, it's also a great place to walk, jog, ride bikes, feed the ducks, or simply stroll down to East London whilst watching the houseboats - Broadway Market, London Fields and Victoria Park are all within walking distance. Angel and Highbury tube give ideal access to the rest of London, you can even go to Paris in 2 hours from Kings' Cross, also a short walk from the flat!
