Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Tea and coffee facilities provided, along with a wee welcome basket of wine and cookies, most welcome! A good TV and lounge area, including use of an outside patio and dining area. Shower has good pressure and the ability to use a washing machine during our stay was great. I can't understand previous low ratings for cleanliness as we found the space to be spotless!

Negative: The bed was small and the mattress was uncomfortable. The firmness was about right for us, but we could feel springs when we moved, maybe time for a new mattress. The pillows could also do with being replaced, but in all fairness we bought our own (We are pillow snobs!).

Summary: A well located little gem! The surrounding grounds are stunning and there are plenty of local walks!
