Summary: Very convenient as a stop off after an evening ferry crossing from Orkney. Friendly staff and an excellent dinner and breakfast. A hair drier in the room (or guidance as to how to get one) would have been useful

Summary: The hotel is near a nice beach and has a garden overlooking the bay, with tables to relax and have a drink - not much around apart from a pub and camping site. Hotel restaurant does conventional substantial food. Comfortable rooms, and friendly staff.

Summary: An ideal overnight stop before catching the ferry to Orkney (Scrabster 35 mins drive away). The hotel is on the coast road, but perfectly quiet, with a magnificent view across a bay to a rocky headland. All the staff exceptionally efficient and welcoming. Spotlessly clean, comfortable room. Delicious pizza supper and an excellent breakfast.

Summary: Great little hotel. Restaurant on site was convenient and delicious. My 2year old loved the pizza so much she ate a kids one all to herself. Near Mel icy beach which was nice for a stroll.
