Positive: The kitchen was well-equipped. The house was clean when we arrived and looked like the photos. It's a 10 minute walk to the Levenshulme train station and Stockport Rd, which is like the High Street for Levenshulme. Within a 2-3 minute walk you have the Younis Cash & Carry for stocking up on food/household supplies and the restaurant/bar Witch Kings at 312 Slade Lane, which has indoor and outdoor seating, great food, drinks and friendly staff. The semi-detached house has self-check-in, but the host Charis was easy to contact by phone and email. There was a helpful book left for guests with house rules, area recommendations, wifi password, etc.

Negative: The free parking was actually just on-street parking which was crowded. Although there is a narrow drive between the property and the house next door, this is a shared drive that mainly serves as the storage space for 8 different trash/recycling bins (4 per household in Manchester) with collection by the council on Fridays. When we pulled into the drive to unload/load our car, we were promptly told by the next door neighbour that we could not use the drive. Also, the lock on the back door urgently needs to be replaced.
