This lovely large apartment gives views over the River Welland from the living and communal areas. Relax in this centrally located home-from-home, perfectly placed to have all main Stamford attractions within walking distance.

Two large bedrooms offer fantastic comfort and relaxation.

Our lovely Grade 2 listed apartment dates back to 1849 where it was used as the bridge tollgate building and a warehouse utilised from the River Welland.
Fully refurbished with many original features still on show, this is the perfect spot to enjoy all the character and charm Stamford has to offer.

Summary: Apartment excellently located in Stamford. On the website it stated there was parking but when I enquired if this was correct I was told there was not. We had brought everything we needed for our stay but suspect other visitors would have to shop for things like shampoo or soap which are usually supplied in holiday accommodation. Lacking in any extra touches which was disappointing however, it fulfillied the very minimum and basic of needs for a holiday let. The little sachets of milk left in fridge were out of date and the main door remained open all the time. It was impossible to close or lock. This was reported at the time but was not fixed in the time we were staying. A little disconcerting. The above didn't detract from the luxury of a warm, comfortable and modern appartment. I would recommend and stay there again. We appreciated the Christmas tree that was left for us to enjoy.
