The Space:
Entering the property, you’ll turn right upon entry and be welcomed into the cosy and homely living room which features a flat screen Smart TV, as well as a spacious sofa and armchair. The room is bright throughout, yet creates a cosy retreat for a relaxing evening after exploring the area.
Continue onto the dining area which can be found at the rear of the living area, and you’ll find a solid wood dining table with four chairs which creates the perfect space to enjoy an evening meal. Take a few steps and you’ll find yourself in the kitchen. The modern, cornflower blue kitchen units are contrasted perfectly with white walls and worktops. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and all cookware and dishes are provided so you’ll have everything you need for your self-catering stay.
Head upstairs and you’ll find Seaview Cottage’s bedrooms. The first bedroom is a tranquil haven. The comfy bed is perfect after a long day of exploring North Yorkshire. Next is the second bedroom which has a wooden bunk bed and a cream wall. Premium bedding and plush bed linens make all of the beds even more comfortable so you’ll look forward to your sleep at Seaview Cottage.
Head to the family bathroom and you’ll find a clean, bright space. With a bath and overhead shower, it is ideal for families with children.

Take the oldest functioning cliff lift in the UK down to the promenade and you’ll arrive at the 208-metre pier which stretches out into the sea. The long sandy shores are overlooked by colourful boutique beach huts and high cliffs tower in the distance. If you want to explore further, The Cleveland Way National Trail is over 100 miles long and you can join this in Saltburn. The seaside village of Staithes is roughly a 20-minute drive away and Whitby can be reached in 30 minutes.

The closest train station is Saltburn which is roughly a 10-minute drive by car so you can explore villages and towns throughout North Yorkshire easily. There are routes to Redcar, Middlesbrough and Darlington with connecting trains to Newcastle, York, Leeds, Manchester and London.
There are a number of bus stops throughout Skelton. Hop on the X4 and you can visit beautiful coastal villages like Sandsend and Runswick Bay.
