Positive: The apartment has been renovated to a high standard and it looks really good. It had everything that we needed.

Negative: The beds and mattresses were not as comfortable as I would have expected. One bed was rattly and the pillows seemed well used. Sleeping was difficult because of the high temperature of the rooms and the outside noise. Windows hardly open, two wouldn't stay open at all with a prop, so there is little fresh air in the apartmemt. Blinds didn't fully stop the impact of the south facing rooms. Fans and dehumidifiers in bedrooms are extremely noisy at night. There is a bar opposite that plays loud music from the afternoon until the early hours. It was difficult to know the best way to get to sleep, and our 5 year old was very disrupted by the noise, not getting to sleep until very late on all 3 nights of our stay. Windows open meant some air but noisy streets, windows closed meant no air and noisy fans. Floors were not cleaned on arrival, there was only 1.25 toilet rolls and a set of towels missing. Staff rectified the problems promptly, but still only 3.25 small toilet rolls were given which wasn't enough for 3 days for 3 people, we ended up buying our own as the housekeeper wouldn't leave spares. Lamps weren't plugged in which was irritating and a light bulb had gone in the main room. The back of the TV controls were also missing so batteries kept falling out on use. I would advise air conditioning to be installed in the bedrooms and blackout blinds along the front as well as the venetian ones already there. I would also suggest a bathroom fan and a new toilet brush, coat hooks in the hallway and a shoe store area. A waterproof sheet for children would have been welcome, the children's cutlery and plates were a thoughtful addition.

Summary: High quality flat but a few omissions and noisy situ.
