Positive: Harbour View is a very apt title for this property as it sits right on the harbour. It is a recently renovated fishermans cottage of traditional build, with a ground floor and upper floor both served with WC facilities. The shower room, on the ground floor, has a superb step in shower. The kitchen has a side entrance that is ideal for loading and unloading the car. The location of the house is central to this harbour town with adjacent hotel and restaurant, coffee shop and newsagent; a fresh seafood outlet is across the street.

Negative: The only drawback, for me, was the steps from the living room to the kitchen and shower room.

Summary: My friend and I had a truly relaxing and interesting weekend in Johnshaven.
