Summary: Despite the overall low ratings this hotel has received, I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and helpful lady who handled the keys. I had to go to a different building to pick them up, which was a bit unexpected, but she made the process quick and smooth. The room was quite basic. The bed was freshly made and the large flat screen TV worked well with a streaming service included, but the cleanliness left a lot to be desired—it felt a bit run-down and not very well maintained. The shared bathroom was very small and cramped. That said, I personally found it fine for my stay, since I spent most of my time out exploring London. The location was a big plus, with great access to public transport and connections around the city. If you're mainly looking for a place to sleep and don’t mind a more worn environment, this place could work—especially on a budget.
