Summary: We loved our stay! The farmhouse was so quaint and vintage and was just what we were looking for. The staff/owner was lovely, pleasant and accommodating. The classic English breakfast was delicious, especially with the recently made homemade jam. Our only issue was gps routing us in a wrong direction and not realizing the entrance was through the gate that was closed. The online map said it was .9 of a mile from the city center of Castle Combe, which is true if you walk it. That turned out not to be a big deal. We also really enjoyed ales and dinner at the Salutation Inn just up the road.
