Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: We were visiting Fraserburgh for a funeral, the booking was made with a short notice and, because we had relatives living in the town, we Has not booked, or expected any meals. Therefore we did not take any meals in the Hotel which has a great reputation locally in Fraserburgh, and with some members of our extended family. We did like the location, the ample parking space, and the very friendly staff.

Negative: We had not booked an accessibility room, but when it was noted that my wife had some disability we were kindly offered that type of room. The room was clean, well heated, and had a good fridge and kettle for making tea etc. The walk in shower had a stool for a seated shower but had no handles to assisted when sitting or rising, or for stability if standing. The onlysink was inadequate for its purpose. It was too small. To fill the kettle you had fill it cupful, and was only fit for a minor washing of hands after using the toilet.

Summary: On the whole we enjoyed being there. We were comfortable and the staff were very helpful
