The house is attractively furnished with an eclectic mix of antique and modern furniture and original artworks. Wooden floors throughout the house. Well equipped with everything you might need. There is a small front garden / patio area to sit and enjoy views directly over Grantchester meadows. Large open plan living room / dining room with views over the meadows. Wall mounted heaters individually controlled in each room. Please note, the woodburner is decorative only and not in use.
Double bedroom with wardrobe, chest of drawers and views over fields. Very quiet.

Summary: We had a lovely stay here. Nice owners and a lot of peace an quiet. A welcome with a box of chocolate, yummie, and after a day of traveling that is very pleasant with a cup of tea.The kitchen is well equipped. Even with a freezer! But the village has also a lot of pubs with good food so we did not used the kitchen for cooking, more for making breakfast.For the two of us it was more then enough room. There was a spare room so if one wants to do something else it was possible. And sometimes you might need that for whatever reason.The only thing was the height of the ceilings. For normal people like me no problem but for my tall husband (1,88 cm) well, with his shoes on he had to take care at the doorway to the kitchen.You can tell the owners put love in the cottage. In decorating and furnishing the cottage. It was a pleasant place to be when we were not out and about.
