The Space:
This boho-chic townhouse in Central Falmouth is perfect for families and larger parties looking to enjoy everything this vibrant town has to offer. Sleeping up to 10 guests with 5 rooms split across four storeys.
The basement has a spacious double bedroom with a private adjoining bathroom. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer on this level. On the ground floor, there is one double bedroom and a lounge which contains a comfortable sofa and two single beds that stack on top of each other to create more seating. This room can be made up as a twin or king bedroom but please let us know if you would like these beds to be made up for your stay. These bedrooms share a family bathroom with a shower/bath.
Moving upstairs, on the first floor is an open-plan kitchen & dining area, well equipped with all the mod cons. Traditional French doors open out onto a large decked balcony with stunning views of the Fal estuary on your left and the sea on your right. Additionally, there is a cosy bunk room perfect for kids. On the top floor is a bright double bedroom benefitting from high elevation and lovely views. Free parking is available in the surrounding streets. Dogs are welcome with a fee of £20/dog (max 2). It is on the condition they are not allowed on the soft furnishings or in the bedrooms.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire property, apart from a storage room on the basement level.
The Neighborhood:
Minnie Place is a quiet and peaceful street. However, being centrally located all the local amenities and attractions are within easy walking distance, so you get the best of both worlds when staying here!
Getting Around:
Falmouth is an area that benefits from having some of the best travel connections in Cornwall. Trains run from London Paddington all the way into the centre of town. The station is less than 10 minutes walk from the house. For those taking a flight, the closest airport is in Newquay which is around a 45 minute drive. You can either catch a taxi or rent a car from the airport.
If you do drive, there is free on street parking in the surrounding streets. During busier times of year you can park in one of the main car parks in town.
Other Things to Note:
Guests with mobility problems or those with young children should be aware the stairs up to the master bedroom are quite steep. Similarly, while the balcony is fenced, young children should never be left unattended.
