Set in 1.5 acres of gardens, Epchris House offers the best of both worlds, a tranquil location in one of Ilfracombe's most beautiful spots, yet close to the town center and the seafront. The Epchris is the oldest building in the Torrs and dates back to 1831. Carefully restored and sensitively renovated, the house is tastefully appointed, with modern comforts and facilities alongside many beautiful original features. Positive: Our host Cath was great and answered all our questions and made us feel very welcome. We found parking our car out in the street the easiest for transferring our bags. It was therefore no problem. We had a great breakfast our on the terrace.

Negative: Our room did not have much of a view whereas it appeared the others did.
