Summary: Bar well stocked. Efficient checking in. Staff all friendly and helpful. On entrance room looked OK however after spending a few hrs there it was evident we had chosen poorly. Carpet was filthy furnishings disgraceful covered with throws to hide stains. Worst part was the bed. The worst three nights sleep we have ever had. Mattress needs condemning and we both woke in pain with our backs. Bathroom adequate. Shower tray had no safety mat. This should be looked at. No fan and bathroom mirror not working. We would add none of this is due to poor staff cleaning as they cannot be responsible for poor furniture and fittings. On discussing whether we should complain we decided against it as we had booked a superior room so it seemed pointless! Furthermore entry and exit door cannot be opened fully and kept sticking. In an emergency this could be fatal. Comments made to encourage owners to improve accommodation. Spend an evening in room 5 and see how you get on. We won't be returning. Very disappointing stay.
