This secluded family friendly town cottage on the River Teifi is neatly tucked away in the medieval part of HISTORIC CARDIGAN. The large enclosed 50' GARDEN provides a peaceful location with a BOAT MOORING & SLIPWAY a few yards away. With (rare for this area) FREE PARKING for 3 cars.
A brand NEW KITCHEN was built & installed in June 2021, fitted with new appliances plus a new garden patio.
Brand NEW UPSTAIRS SHOWER ROOM was installed in Jan 2024.
PETS: one small dog is welcome
A short drive away are 6 classic beaches MWNT, TRESAITH, LLANGRANNOG,
POPPIT SANDS, NEWPORT & PENBRYN.
The Cottage is within walking distance of all the town amenities including: restaurants, cafes, shops, a market CARDIGAN CASTLE & THEATRE MWLDAN for movies & live shows.
From the house enjoy a towpath walk to the TEIFI MARSHES NATURE RESERVE WITH HIDES, home to kingfishers, otters, wading birds & stunning flora & fauna.
FREE ENTRY to the nature reserve & VISITOR CENTRE with the
GLASSHOUSE CAFE serving freshly cooked food.
A must see is the newly restored, CARDIGAN CASTLE WITH RESTAURANT, home to the first Eisteddfod in 1176, celebrating the Welsh Festival of Literature & Music.

Summary: We had a lovely time in this charming house in Cardigan.The house was spacious,comfortable,plenty of parking & in a quiet convenient location.We enjoyed our stay & would highly recommend. Thanks to Susie & neighbour Sarah for all your help & we would look forward to returning one day.
