Positive: This is a real piece of Heaven. It is a wonderful place, far enough from the main road to be quiet, yet with easy access to it. The attention to detail that went into building this place is easily seen everywhere. It is like it was built by the owners to be their own home and let me tell you: they have some great standards. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The temperature in the area is noticeably lower than in the city and with the very good insulation that the house itself provides you might feel the need to turn on the heating even during summer months (just kidding). The heating is on demand via a portable thermostat and the hot water in the shower is also readily available. The wifi has good signal throughout the property and the speed makes streaming services work great. In the yard, there are several spaces for having a meal, including two barbecues so more than one group can enjoy this activity. The view from the yard is gorgeous. There is one side without any buildings and that lets you see the wavy, forested hills that stretch from nearby to far away. Sitting on a lounge chair facing this view can chase away all of the stress and fatigue and really make you feel you're on vacation. Even working on your computer is much more relaxing when you can peek at this beautiful scenery at any time. Let's not forget the host. We were welcomed in the most warm and friendly manner possible. We were given a tour of the property and even treated to some homegrown vegetables from their garden and some homemade jam and other goodies. We've rarely felt so welcome while away from home and we offer our deepest thanks and gratitude for our time here. We liked it so much that we just had to extend our stay by one more night. We will definitely come again.
