The bustling village of St Merryn is just three miles from Padstow and eleven miles from Newquay. The village has many amenities including shops, bars, restaurants and a post office. Within a ten minute drive, are the safe life-guarded sandy beaches of Mother Ivey's Bay, Treyamon Bay and Porthcothan, which are excellent for families. Nearby is the harbour town of Padstow, which has a number of shops and restaurants. For walkers and cyclists, the Camel Trail, which runs from Padstow is essential, and is one of the best known trails in Cornwall. Within a thirty minute drive from St Merryn is the wonderful Eden Project, The Blue Reef Aquarium and the Crealy Adventure Park. This part of Cornwall is perfect and ideal at any time of the year.
