Gloriously faithful to the decade of disco, there is nothing understated about this retro-styled two-bedroomed cottage! The home has been fully refurbished to an exceptional standard, and although facilities are brand new, the cottage is packed with 1970s themed décor, accessories and furnishings.
The bespoke kitchen dining room, with fabulous Catbells feature wall and underfloor heating, is the perfect place to gather with family/friends and recount the days adventures while you cook and dine.The kitchen comes complete with spacious round dining table, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, oven, hob, microwave, and plenty of cupboard/counter space.
There is a lovely sun room overlooking the patio, and ground floor WC.
The living room has two vibrant sofas, electric feature fire and smart TV. The shelving unit houses a selection of books to choose from while you enjoy some relaxation time.
Moving upstairs, to the back of the cottage is the twin bedroom with brand new ensuite shower room. Summary: We had a lovely week in Blue Sky Cottage, plenty of space for a family of 4 and lots of nice touches in the decor. It's in a perfect location, close to the shops and park (and ice-cream!) and very convenient with off street parking. The owners have done a great job refurbishing the property, the kitchen extension was a nice sun trap whilst we were there and we ate outside most nights. The bedrooms are a good size and 2 bathrooms was an added bonus. Hopefully we will return in the not too distant future!
