This beautiful detached farmhouse has been lovingly restored to a high standard in 2019/2020 to offer a fabulous holiday experience. The ground floor has two large reception rooms both with wood burners, comfortable sofas and large Smart TVs for your entertainment. There is also a separate games room with pool table and dart board, a ground floor toilet and an external boot room. The kitchen area centres around the traditional farmhouse table, with an electric Aga along with all the modern appliances you may need. A large pantry gives excellent storage for a big family shop with a separate utility ensuring all your needs are catered for. Upstairs are five spacious bedrooms giving versatility of sleeping arrangements. One en-suite kingsize is accessed by a twin room making this perfect for a family, with a second bedroom having both double and queen beds. There is a further kingsize bedroom and a double bedroom. A family bathroom with separate shower and superb slipper bath make up this floor.
Outside is where the fun begins with plenty of space for a large group to spread out, whether your pastime be wandering the grounds, dining al fresco or trying your hand on the tennis courts. There are plenty of additional games to keep everyone entertained include badminton, basketball and football nets on the separate games/tennis court. A beautiful terraced area is set with a large table and chairs and has uninterrupted views out over stunning countryside towards the coast. It is possible to enter the house from the back garden with no steps up, however there is an incline on the lawn.
The magnificent coastline this region is renowned for is a mere 4 miles away. Embleton beach offers a wide expanse of golden sands, and Beadnell Bay, very popular with water sports enthusiasts, is only 5 miles from Tynely Farm. A beautiful walk from the fishing village of Craster, past the historic Dunstanburgh Castle and along the golden sands to Low Newton by the Sea, is highly recommended. A further couple of miles up the coastline brings you to Seahouses where there are tea rooms, shops and a choice of restaurants. Boat trips to the Farne Islands, famous for its bird sanctuaries and seal colony, depart regularly from its harbour. Three miles further north is the picture-perfect village of Bamburgh, dominated by its majestic fortress. Holy Island can be seen from the unspoilt golden sandy beach. Travelling 7 miles inland from Tynely Farm is the market town of Alnwick where there is a wide choice of facilities available. Alnwick Castle and Gardens is well worth a visit. Tynely is a small hamlet situated about a mile east of the A1, giving easy access to explore this stunning part of north Northumberland and the Scottish Borders too. Beach 6 miles. Shop 4 miles, pub and restaurant 6 miles.
