Positive: The house was big enough for all eight of us. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could think of. Great to have a lounge where we could all sit together. The kitchen table was the ideal size. Big enough for dinners and serving dishes. The king-size beds were ultra comfortable, couldn't feel my partner moving around. The en suite showers were very powerful. The Christmas deco was lovely and a nice touch. Handy having a second fridge. We have booked again for next year.

Negative: It was difficult to remember to do the radiator regimen. Not much firewood, so had to go buy some. A second dishwasher would be a massive help with the amount of dishes, pots, and pans accumulated in a dinner for eight, let alone 12. Some reported that the smaller beds were not so great (everyone is different). Would recommend a full-size refrigerator without a freezer compartment in the utility room, as there is little call for frozen food, and the one in the kitchen is sufficient.

Summary: Great house for family get togethers.
