Set over four floors, the cottage sleeps eight people and has two king-size double bedrooms and two twins, along with a family bathroom and a separate shower room, together with two cloakrooms. Also in the cottage are a fitted kitchen with arch to a dining room and two sitting rooms. Outside is roadside parking for one car and additional parking in nearby car park, along with an enclosed yard with furniture. Situated in the heart of the Lake District, 48 Oak Street is a lovely family cottage from which to explore this beautiful part of the country.

Brockhole, which offers high wire tree top experiences, is less than two miles away, and the historic villages of Grasmere, Ambleside and Troutbeck are a short drive away. There are also a variety of watersports on offer for the more energetic at marine centres along the lake.
