Summary: We are a family of 3 generations and a dog, (from 2hr+ north & south of location) who spent Xmas week here. It is the 4th time we have rented to spend Xmas together, and this was the best equipped of them all..... we had 2 more family members join us for Xmas Day, & the hosts kindly brought us extra dining chairs. Overall, the property was very spacious, but warm (with underfloor heating, & a log fire); beautifully decorated, comfortably furnished, and spotlessly clean. The hosts were extremely friendly & helpful (eg. in obtaining a taxi for Xmas eve, local info, etc.) The rural location was peaceful and good for walks, & we enjoyed 2 excellent meals at the Houblon Arms, (15 mins walk). The phone signal & WiFi were not the greatest, (for some phones) but a small sacrifice for such a good find!
