Positive: The house is a good size with plenty of rooms and ample space. It was clean and tidy on arrival. The ground floor bedroom and wet room are ideal for those who struggle with stairs. We were a multi-generational family group and found the house big enough to for all to come together as well as have their own space when needed. The furnishings were comfortable and everything that was needed for our stay was provided. The location near shops, restaurants and the seafront is ideal.
Negative: A couple of things would make this property perfect; having more than one set of door keys. When you are a large group there are often times when you might go out separately but with only one set of keys coordinating that can be difficult. Whether you are a large family or group of friends additional keys are a necessity. The second issue is the unsightly and overflowing rubbish bins in the walkway between the house and next door properties. It really was an eyesore and not pleasant to walk past or look at every time you opened the front door or looked out of the window on that side of the property. Although not directly under the control of the owner it should be possible to negotiate with the Local Authority for an improvement/solution in the interests of encouraging tourism. A simple solution would be some kind of bin store construction. It’s a shame as it really detracts from a lovely house.
Summary: A lovely house in a great location, with improvements this would be an amazing holiday renatal.
