Summary: The view from the terrace has to be the most beautiful in the country. Absolutely spectacular. And the huge private terrace is wonderful -- I just wish we'd had better weather to enjoy it fully. Because ... that view! The cottage itself is cosy, quirky, comfortable, historic and immaculatly clean. Host David was responsive, friendly and knowledgeable. The location, midway between Whitby and Scarborough, is ideal, and there are numerous walking trails in the area. And did I mention the view!
